Natamycin

Natamycin, also known as pimaricin, is a naturally occurring antifungal compound used as a food preservative to prevent the growth of molds and yeasts. It is derived from the fermentation of the bacterium Streptomyces natalensis and is widely used in food preservation due to its efficacy and safety.
